Trishan Patel joins the Pakistan Football Federation as Performance Analyst

Trishan Patel has taken up a new role as Performance Analyst at the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). Patel has a wide-ranging background in coaching, having worked with organisations, clubs, and schools across England, including Liverpool, Luton Town, and the Football Association.

Patel kicked off his coaching journey in 2006, joining UK International Soccer as Head Football Coach at the company’s Soccer Camps. In 2009, Patel began working with Premier League side Luton Town both as a Community Coach and as a Centre of Excellence coach. He remained with Luton Town until 2015, garnering valuable experience and leading the club’s U11 squad.

The UEFA A Licence holder secured the role of First-Team Assistant Manager with Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division’s Biggleswade United in 2019. During Patel’s time at Biggleswade United, the club achieved a 65.9% win rate in all competitions, gained its highest-ever finish in the Premier Division, and reached the County Cup Final.

Since 2016, Patel has provided coaching and mentoring services to Academy players, grassroots clubs, and schools through his award-winning company, Trishan Patel Coaching. He has also coached with Liverpool as an International Academy Coach, planning and delivering sessions at the club’s International Academy Camps throughout Scandinavia.

Most recently, Patel has been focused on his role as U18s Manager with Southern League Premier Division Central’s Berkhamsted, where he has also worked as Assistant First-Team Manager.

Patel joins the Pakistan Football Federation at an exciting time for the country’s national team. Following the appointment of fellow Football Careers client Stephen Constantine as manager, Pakistan’s national team secured its first victory in three decades of World Cup qualifiers with a 1-0 victory over Cambodia on 17th October.

In his new position as Performance Analyst at the Pakistan Football Federation, Patel will play a key role in enhancing the performance of the country’s national football team. With his experience and analytical acumen, Patel has the opportunity to make a lasting impact on Pakistan’s rejuvenated football landscape.

Pakistan will face Saudi Arabia in an away tie tomorrow (16th November) in the second round of World Cup qualifiers.
