Football Careers client Trishan Patel has been appointed Assistant Coach of the Pakistan national team ahead of their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Across his career, Patel has held a number of positions in football coaching, including for clubs such as Biggleswade United, Luton Town, and Liverpool, alongside working within the Football Association (FA).
In 2016 Patel formed his own coaching company, Trishan Patel Coaching, which provides award-winning coaching services to academies and grassroots players. Alongside this, Patel has undertaken the role of Under 18s Manager at Berkhamsted FC, where he previously worked as First Team Assistant Manager.
In November 2023, Patel began a new role as a Performance Analyst for the Pakistan national team and following a successful six months in the position, Patel has now been given the opportunity to take on the role of the side’s Assistant Coach. Upon joining up with the Pakistan National team, Patel will be thrown straight into the action with the side playing two World Cup qualifiers in early June against Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan.
Patel’s new role will see him work alongside fellow Football Careers client Stephen Constantine, who took the reins as Head Coach in September 2023 and led Pakistan to their first-ever victory in World Cup qualifiers after defeating Cambodia.
Here at Football Careers we congratulate Trishan on his new role and wish him all the best for Pakistan’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
